lyrics

There is a cicada shell of women near the river
and it is a miracle there is no wind.
The sidewalk beneath her is lightly shaded.
Her insides are the lacking of every place she's ever been.

It is a goose that shepards her along
beneath the yellow bridges.
Now every stone is her eye,
her ovaries two loving birds in the hedges.

Through this all I never move.
Her outline still embedded where the horizon meets the heavens.
And i think to myself, maybe this'll never end.
Maybe this'll never end.

Maybe I am okay.

And I talk to the goose of north shore concrete.
He keeps me company while the metal and glass
throw bits of sunset across the gap.
He unlocks my feet,
shows me every feeling anyone ever had,
that anyone ever had.
